We rebuilt the website. Here's why it looks different.
The old site said we do AI consultancy. The new one had to actually prove it.
If you've been here before, you'll notice things have changed. New look, new terminal-styled bits, a live AI tool sitting in the middle of the homepage. Here's the short version of why.
Barely Artificial sells AI consultancy. A website that just describes that, in the same beige corporate language as everyone else, was never going to be good enough proof. So this build was done the same way we'd tell a client to work: find where AI genuinely helps, use it there, and keep a human in charge of the result.
That's not a slogan. The brand, the copy, the design system, this website, all of it went through AI as a working partner rather than a replacement for judgement. Every draft got checked, cut, and rewritten where it read like it came from a machine, because plenty of it did, at first.
A couple of things worth actually trying rather than reading about: the AI Opportunity Finder on the homepage calls the same Claude models we use for client work and gives you three realistic ideas for your own business, not a generic list. And if you want the full story of how the site itself got built, there's a proper case study for that too.
We're still a young business. Rather than pad this site out with things that aren't true yet, we'd rather it looked like what it actually is: work in progress, done properly, with the boring bits automated and the important bits still checked by a person.
